How to Write a Bibliography
Here are examples of how you write different information sources in a bibliography:
Books

One Author:
Author. Title. City where published: Name of Publisher, Year Published. page(s).

Example:
Behnke, Alison. Japan in Pictures. Minneapolis, MN: Lerner Publications Company, 2003. 17.
 
Two Authors:
Author and Author. Title. City where published: Name of Publisher, Year Published. pages(s).

Example:
Arnold, James R. and Wiener, Roberta. On To Richmond: The Civil War in the East 1861-1862. Minneapolis, MN: Lerner Publications Company, 2002. 54-60.
 
Encyclopedias

"Name of article." Name of encyclopedia. Year published.

Example:

"Canada." World Book Encyclopedia. 1998 ed.
 

Magazine Articles

Author. "Name of article." Name of magazine. Date published: page(s).

Example:

McCarry, John. "Peru Begins Again." National Geographic. May 1996: 2-35.
 
On-Line Source

Name of site. Date site used <website address>

Example:
